PEPPERS

PEPPERS
Bell peppers originally come from Central and South America.

They grow on a short bush which can grow up to 3 feet tall and have white flowers. The peppers grow from the flowers. The most common colors of bell peppers are green, yellow, orange and red. More rarely, brown, white, lavender, and dark purple peppers can be seen, depending on the variety. The brighter the color of the pepper, the sweeter the taste. Bell peppers may be eaten cooked or raw, such as in salads. Now go to the garden and see if you find this plant.
